EcoVox engineer Lauren Rueda spoke at Cal Poly's annual EPIC (Engineering Possibilities in College) summer camp on August 3 2017. Approximately 200 10th-12th grade students were in attendance for the talk, which covered energy efficiency, renewable energy systems, and future career paths in sustainability and energy engineering.

EPIC is an annual summer program that immerses campers from grades 7-12 in a wide array of labs and activities.  Now in its 10th year, the event targets underserved students and those who may not have considered a career in engineering. (More details at
