Building on his background in energy efficiency project management, Ryan is responsible for directing operations for EcoVox. His experience developing and implementing control retrofit projects in food processing and refrigerated facilities enables EcoVox to tailor services to the unique needs of our large commercial and industrial customers. Ryan also has extensive experience in delivering rebates and incentives through utility programs, modeling energy usage using whole-building simulation, and implementing energy efficiency and demand reduction control strategies. A member of ASHRAE, Ryan served as the chair of ASHRAE Technical Committee (TC) 10.5. He is also an active member of TC’s 10.1 and 10.8, as well as a member of the local chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
With 15 years of experience in building automation control systems, Jason provides the direction for the technical development and product engineering at EcoVox. His expertise with DDC controls design and programming includes large commercial facilities, wineries, hospitals, laboratories, military and aerospace buildings. His background includes air and water balance for HVAC and hydronic systems as well as the commissioning and retro-commissioning of buildings, which is instrumental to the implementation of EcoVox’s energy management services for our customers. An ASHRAE-certified Commissioning Process Management Professional and a member of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers, Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of California.
Serving as Chief Financial Officer, Kelly manages the business systems for EcoVox. In addition to his finance role, his certifications and his experience as a Certified Energy Manager, Certified Green Building Engineer, Commissioning Process Management Professional, and LEED Accredited Professional expand the comprehensive suite of services that EcoVox delivers for our customers. He is active in a number of local and industry organizations, including the Association of Energy Engineers, ASHRAE, the American Society of Plumbing Engineers, the United States Green Building Council and Cal Poly’s HVAC&R Industry Advisory Board. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and is also a registered Professional Engineer in the State of California.
Ricado Tijero joined Ecovox in 2014. He completed his Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. Ricardo manages EcoVox's analytics platforms and leads tool development for analyzing building and energy data more quickly. He also maintains interfaces with various building automation systems to extract sensor data and communicate with the analytics platforms. Outside of the office you will often find him doing crafts, playing guitar, hiking, or playing video games.
Lauren Rueda joined EcoVox in 2014 as an Energy Engineer, bringing with her a passion for all aspects of sustainability. At EcoVox, she is involved with project setup and ongoing analytics for real-time building commissioning, working directly with customers to optimize HVAC performance and meet their energy efficiency goals. Lauren received her Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from UC San Diego with an emphasis in photovoltaic systems, and has a background in LED technology. She is an officer of the Central Coast section of the Society of Women Engineers, and is involved in outreach programs to encourage student interest in STEM fields.
Joshua Sharon joined EcoVox in 2018. As Director of Sales he utilizes a decade of technical experience offering a client focused approach to qualify and demonstrate EcoVox energy information systems. Mr. Sharon plays a leadership role in sales training, marketing design, and creating forward-looking business development strategies designed to meet the emerging utility management needs of our clients. Josh apprenticed in piezoelectric physics for 6 years, serving a global customer base in a wide array of electro-mechanical end-use applications.
